Regardless of where you live, do not limit yourself to one Facebook group, join other groups such as LA Comedy Scene, Stand Up Comedians Metro NY etc. You never know when you might travel and have an opportunity to do comedy. The best Facebook group to join to keep up to date with festivals is Comedy Festivals and Competitions
