COTTON, REECE is a Tufts University alumna who effortlessly fuses humor with controversy and is one of the most sought-after emerging comedians hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. Cotton became a stand-up comedian as a means to cope with the loss of her younger brother and founded the Javonee Cotton Scholarship for Cinematic Excellence in honor of his memory. She made her television stand-up debut on Comedy Central'sKevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City Boston. She made her international stand-up debut at the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival and recently delivered her first collegiate motivational speech. Cotton featured as a Rising Star during this year's North Hollywood Comedy Festival and is executive producing a major stand-up comedy show at The Rockwell Theater.
Cotton credits her success to hard work, family support, and mentors, namely, Comedian Lady Vain. Devoted to her community, Cotton provides opportunities & supportive content for other rising comedians. Not to mention, Cotton develops productions throughout Boston and beyond.
